Cathy believes that reading books in English is crucial to the success of students of all ages and encourages all of her students to read as many books in their second language as they can

Brian believes that learning English should be fun and that students should make an effort to smile throughout their studies and enjoy learning the language.

경력 Emma came to Oedae in September 2009 after spending a year teaching in a hagwon in Cheonan. She studied history at the University of Leeds in the UK and enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling. When it comes to language learning, Emma believes that ‘practice makes perfect’ and says that all of her students should take every opportunity they get to speak English.

Jenny likes to make her lessons as fun as possible for students and is renowned for her innovative and entertaining activities in the class room. She believes that students should enjoy learning English if they are going to succeed at the language.

May is an enthusiastic traveler who has spent time working in Australia and also enjoys watching movies in her free time. Her advice to her students is that they should try to make the language learning process a pleasant one, as they are much more likely to succeed at something they enjoy.

경력 Rick joined us in April 2009 from California, where he studied world literature at Claremont College. He has previously worked as a volunteer with children in Kathmandu, Nepal. His hobbies include swimming, reading and jogging. Rick thinks that students should always try and be fair to their classmates when they are studying, and also to themselves, as he thinks that a supportive classroom environment is very important for successful learning.
